Maybe this would be a 5 star if they would have had a dozen eggs left for us. Our own fault as we got there late afternoon on a Sunday. Having said that, it’s nice to know they sell their eggs! Funds go to support animal rescue. A great feeling all round. I’ll be going back for eggs soon.
Adorable sanctuary for farm animals, a great place to take your kids to see the animals up close. Please donate your uncarved, unbleached pumpkins, apples, hay bales and empty liqor bottles to help feed the animals.
The lady who runs this place was extremely difficult to deal with. Nothing I did was good enough for her. I wanted to leave a positive rating only because this is an animal rescue center but I can't because the barn had not been cleaned in a very long time so conditions were poor for the animals. Birds were filthy and covered in feces. The floor inside the pens was a disgrace. I had to put a scarf around my face to breathe because the amonia from bird poop was very strong. Even my eyes were burning. I can't help but notice all the 5 star reviews for events. Keep in mind that they would be on their best behavior during one of these.....
